Workshop 2 Sikes Adobe with San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy
The second Coast to Crest Art in Nature Workshops in partnership with SDRVC brings us to historic farmstead Sikes Adobe. Here we will stroll the grounds and learn the basics of urban sketching with a free inside tour included. All supplies provided, and this workshop is for all ages and ability levels. ArtCamp4Grownups Workshops
In partnership with the adult art retreat camp ArtCamp4Grownups located in De Benneville Pines, we will be hosting pine tree watercolor and bird sketching workshops.
This multiple day retreat hosts a variety of art intensive classes and other camp activities. Accomodation and meals are included!

Succulent Jewels
This is our second partnership with Mission Hills Nursery with a focus on succulents. We will learn how to watercolor different kinds of succulents we see in the nursery and then create a succulent jewel keepsake. All materials provided and all artistic levels encouraged

Torn Paper Landscapes at Birdwing: Coast to Crest Workshop Series
Join us for part One of our Four part workshop series in partnership with San Diego River Valley Conservancy. Starting at the Coast and moving inland to the beautiful Crests of the Santa Ysabel mountains, we will connect with the entire San Dieguito Watershed through a series of diverse and accessible art projects.
Our first workshop is set at the magnificent Birdwing Open Air Classroom, and focuses on abstract landscape using torn watercolor paper. This workshop is accessible for all ages and art abilities, and all materials are provided. Participants get to take their framed torn paper landscape home!

Join us as we celebrate our majestic monarchs for a relaxed art activity set among the beautiful native plants in the Mission Hills Nursery.
The Mission Hills Nursery is a local neighborhood nursery focused on community, garden skills, and native plant knowledge. The yearly Monarch Festival is held with the goal to educate the “public about creating habitat and supporting biodiversity.”
