Featured Strolls
In this seasonal stroll we walk under many beautiful native trees and observe the fall leaf colors. In our journals, we practice drawing leaf shapes, make leaf prints, sample oak gall ink, and try our hand at plein air landscapes.
Louis A Stelzer County Park is a county park and trail site in Lakeside. The loop trail will go through magical riparian oak forests and up along a coastal shrub ridge. The site has bathrooms, ample parking, and lots of seating along the trail.

Duration: 2 and a half hours
Difficulty: Moderate 2 mile loop little incline
Directions
In this stroll we observe the extensive migratory bird population as they enjoy a warm weather stop along their country long journey. With the beautiful Lake Murray as our backdrop, we will use binoculars and practice animal tracking and identifying. Our art activities range from watercolor feathers to observational sketching to track printing.
Lake Murray is a picturesque lake right off the 8 and has many easy trails meandering around the lake. There are restrooms and plenty of parking.

Public - Seasonal
We also offer private Strolls that run 2.5 hours in a variety of locations that can be scheduled by contacting us and filling out a form.

Check out our calendar of special single session events hosted by amazing local partners. This is a great way to experience a more relaxed version of what we do as these events usually do not include a hike and are set in accessible spaces.

The Art Kit
We provide Art Kits with every Sketch and Stroll. Each participant gets to use a variety of art supplies and then take their sketchbook home!
